:here studies – Preparatory studies for refugees – Academy HERE AHEAD

:here studies prepares refugees for studies in Bremen and Bremerhaven. In intensive language courses, they learn German up to level C1. Preparation seminars which are subject-related provide insights into the desired course of study. Workshops on topics such as study techniques, scientific work and writing, research, time management, communication at universities and intercultural training are also part of the preparation classes.

Depending on the language level, four different language courses start each year. Therefore, there are four different application deadlines. Among other things, a TestAS score (www.testas.de) of at least 190 points is required for enrolment.

The program is free of charge for refugees. They will be enrolled as preparatory students at the University of Bremen.
